Underway.  Lights of Waikiki.  Famous Diamond head extinct volcano on far right.

Getting trolling lines and lures ready.  Boat will troll at speeds of 8 to 10 knots.

Penn 101 International game fish reel and other make reel.  The line is thick enough to tow a battleship !

6 Baits/lures are skipping behind boat on top of the Pacific.  See that 1000 pound Stripped Marlin out there !  LOL  I saw it !

Fighting Chair.  If a big one hits, Angler and chair may fly overboard ! (just kidding)

Score 1 Mahi-Mahi Dolphin boated !

Crew watched for Marlin.  Boat in the past has boated many over 1000 pounds and holds some records for past years.

At port Mahi flag ready to be raised and run up the mast.  Another Mahi got off and we had a strike of a Stripped Marlin.

TV crew records the action in port.  Trouble is that there is not a lot of action as the Mahi schools have vanished and the oldest fishing song in history has played once again "You should have been here yesterday" !  And boy, that was one expensive boat ride !

Mahi-Mahi is brought out of the ice hold.

Mahi - Mahi Dolphin.  Note lures on ice chest.  Boat charter is the WILD BUNCH through MAGIC fishing located at the Dock in Honolulu.  A few days before this as the Mahi season is in full swing, this boat caught 30 Mahi in one day, many larger than this one.
